Description: We are seeking an associate attorney to join our Litigation practice group. Their key responsibilities will include analyzing and investigating litigation matters; conducting research and developing arguments; assisting Shareholders in all phases of litigation including arguing and defending motions, taking and defending depositions, and participating in trials; preparing and reviewing motions, briefs, and discovery; and other associate attorney-level duties.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following:
-License to practice in Minnesota
-License to drive in Minnesota
-Zero to three years of litigation experience
-The ability to process difficult matters
-A willingness to travel throughout the state as needed, staying overnight away from home
when necessary
-Strong legal research and writing skills
-The ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
-Prior experience managing multi-party litigation
-A judicial clerkship with State or Federal trial and appellate courts
Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience.
