Kennedy & Graven is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Municipal Bond Attorney to join our growing public finance practice. Key responsibilities include providing legal counsel and advice on public finance issues, including tax exempt bonds, project financing, and compliance with federal and state laws; analyzing relevant laws and regulations affecting public finance transactions; drafting and reviewing bond resolutions, documents and certificates; reviewing offering materials; and working closely with governmental entities, municipal advisors, underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure that bond transactions are properly and timely closed.
The ideal candidate is a licensed attorney with at least five years of experience in public finance transactions, including experience in revenue bond financing and conduit borrowing, and possess a strong analytical ability, meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication and writing skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
The annual salary range for this position is $130,000 to $195,000 commensurate with experience.
