
Peter A. Martin
Peter Martin represents local governmental entities in all matters related to the issuance of taxable and tax-exempt municipal debt. He has acted as bond counsel in a variety of financing structures, including general obligation bonds, certificates of participation, lease-purchase financings and short-term borrowing through aid anticipation certificates of indebtedness. Additionally, Peter serves as general counsel to the Minnesota School District Liquid Asset Fund Plus ("MSDLAF+") and the Minnesota Association of Governments Investing for Counties ("MAGIC" Fund). Peter also regularly guides school districts through the complexities of election law, business transactions and real estate matters. Peter has been active in the Minnesota legislature as a lobbyist and has been involved in developing many school-related legislative initiatives over the past decade.
